Growing Our Way
Growing food, capable kids, and family freedom on a small Tasmanian homestead.
We’re documenting the systems, skills, mistakes and seasonal rhythms of building a more resilient family life — honestly, practically, and as we learn.
About Us
Our story
We’re Charles and Michelle, raising our three girls on about three acres in rural Tasmania while renovating a farmhouse, growing food, keeping chickens and ducks, homeschooling, and learning how to build a more capable family life.
Growing Our Way is not expert advice or polished lifestyle theatre. It’s our working notebook: what we try, what breaks, what the kids learn, what we’d do differently, and the systems that make family life a little more resilient.
